Police Dog

The police force welcomed a new member.

The chief’s face changed rapidly, and he looked at Hua Jingzhi. “Are you serious?”

Hua Jingzhi nodded with his usual icy face.

“Is this… not appropriate?”

“It’s appropriate. It’ll be donated to the team, and doesn’t need your approval for funds.”

“It’s not about the funds…”

“Then what’s the problem?”

The director’s face was swollen with anger. He looked at the white Samoyed running around on his desk with a small pink tongue sticking out. With a strange expression, he asked, “Are you sure it can be a police dog?”

“Not sure.” Hua Jingzhi had made up his mind to give the dog away. “Try it with other police dogs in the team first.”

It’s all said and done, and the director had nothing left to say, so he agreed.

Hua Jingzhi had accomplished many achievements recently, and had become a small star in all of X City. Someone secretly took photos of him and posted them on the Internet, saying that he was the “most handsome policeman”. It caused many young girls to wait at the gate of the police station every day, like they were chasing a star. They couldn’t be driven away, and any talks were not listened to. It made the director very annoyed.

“You haven’t taken annual leave for several years, right? Do you want to take this opportunity to take it?” The director flipped through the calendar and marked two weeks with a pen. “There is nothing to do in the next few days, so take two weeks of leave first.”

Hua Jingzhi also intended to do that.

It had been five years since he came back from Xinjiang, and he had never taken an annual leave.

He usually has nothing to do. He was idle, so he might as well come to the bureau to work, and he had been saving his annual leave.

It’s different now. The sweet and soft little wife was in front of him every day, and he had a “work injury”. Nothing could make him bored when the little wife was around.

The director raised his eyebrows. “What’s the matter?”

“Family matters.”

The director chuckled. He held the teacup and drank tea happily.

Yang Wei poked his head in from outside. “Chief, did you call me?”

The chief nodded, and moved his chin to the small ball who was still barking on the table. “Take him to train with the other police dogs.”

Yang Wei didn’t think too much. He picked up Xiao Samo and left. He muttered as he walked, “This dog is so beautiful, Hua Jingzhi. Why didn’t you keep it for little sister-in-law to play with?”

Hua Jingzhi directly kicked him out with the dog.

The andrology department of the city hospital had been very idle recently. Ruo Bi read books when she had nothing to do. The head nurse gave her a lot of books to read, as well as professional books on psychology, which she needed to read more.

Hua Jingzhi would personally pick her up and drop her off from work every day. At night, when she went back to cook, Hua Jingzhi would clean the kitchen. They occasionally went out to have a meal and watch a movie. When they got home, she would be pressed on the bed until midnight, making her waist sore and legs weak.

Hua Jingzhi was really a clingy person. He would cling to her until midnight. When she woke up to go to the bathroom, he would hold her back, as if he was afraid that she would run away.

“Hey, what are you thinking, smiling so lewdly.”

Ruo Bi was startled. When she saw Doctor Liu standing in front of her, she coughed lightly to hide her embarrassment.  “I’m thinking about the plot in the book. The book that the head nurse gave me is very nice.”
