Hot Spring

Gao Yan took Chu Xia and Liang Shiyun to a Cantonese-style tea restaurant.

The convenience of drinking morning tea was that even if you are not hungry, you can still drink tea and eat small bites. This was considerate of Liang Shiyun.

Gao Yan asked for a private room. During the meal, he first had them talk about the past for a while. After the meal was served, he then began to talk about business.

This business matter was naturally what Gao Yan asked Chu Xia about.

Liang Shiyun was still curious about what they had talked about and why they needed her opinion. After listening carefully for a while, it seemed to be that Gao Yan wanted to start a business together with Chu Xia and the business was about coworking spaces.

Coworking space was a relatively popular concept in the past few years.

Take the US as an example. It started with WeWork in San Francisco in 2010. Now there are nearly a thousand coworking spaces across the US.

Eventually coworking spaces became popular all over the world.

There were many small and medium enterprises in China. Their capital was not high, but the lost cost provided a foundation for the development of coworking spaces in China. Most of the coworking spaces in the country were still superficial. They blindly used a Nordic style, hiring a few young front desk workers, and hoped to make a profit by relying on the profit from rent. A company that was doing this well did not exist yet.

None of these spaces in the city was successful.

“I’ve explained it all. How about it? Are you willing to join?” Gao Yan asked Chu Xia.

Chu Xia didn’t seem to be very optimistic about this entrepreneurial proposal. “Your company is running well, why do you want to bother with this?”

With the current market value and profitability of Leshang, even if Gao Yan really created a coworking office space, it would be difficult to surpass Leshan. This was true even if it was successfully operating later on. However, there was the risk of failure.

Chu Xia was trying to pour cold water on Gao Yan.

“As a human, I always want to prove myself. It’s probably because the company is running well that I don’t think I have any challenges,” Gao Yan gave him a somewhat blunt answer.

Chu Xia: “…”

“Shiyun, what do you think?” Gao Yan poured tea for Liang Shiyun again.

“I think the idea is very good.” Liang Shiyun’s mind was still on asking him for help. She quickly echoed, “The country’s real estate market has already changed from an incremental market to a stock market. It is better to rebuild the old buildings together.”

Gao Yan turned his head and winked at Chu Xia, as if to say, look, Shiyun feels good about this.

Liang Shiyun didn’t see their eye contact because it was out of her view. But after a while, Chu Xia gave up by saying that he wanted to take a break first and would consider it.

With that, Gao Yan turned the conversation to Liang Shiyun’s resort project.

The resort that Liang Shiyun was eager to sell was a hot spring resort.

Leshang was the same as Lida. Its business projects were mainly in real estate, but the big difference was that Leshang also had a chain hotel brand operating under it.

Liang Shiyun had thought it through from the very beginning. If Leshang took over the resort, management would not be a problem at all. They could even invest some more money to build the resort into a rustic luxurious style that had become popular recently.

The reason why Lida couldn’t do it was due to the lack of funds and the lack of management experience in hotels. In the past few years, the resort has been unable to make ends meet due to operational management problems.

But it could not be denied that the resort’s hot springs were indeed unique.

Liang Shiyun then worked hard to sell.

Gao Yan nodded after listening to her, but at the end he made an embarrassed expression. “It sounds pretty good. I should go and have a look at it, and let the relevant company department evaluate it… but I don’t really have time to go this month.”

He spoke like this as a way to politely refuse.

Liang Shiyun’s heart skipped a beat. She began to consider the remaining available companies.

Gao Yan suddenly changed the topic again. He turned his head and asked the person next to him, “Chu Xia, have you been to this resort?”

Chu Xia: “No.”

“Then perfect!” Gao Yan smiled. “Didn’t you say that you wanted to take a break for a while? Why don’t you go on vacation and help me take a look at the resort?”

Liang Shiyun: “…”

Chu Xia: “…” He was also speechless. “Do you trust me that much?”

“Of course, I’m still waiting for you to join me in starting a coworking space. Who else would I believe in?” Gao Yan said. He turned to Liang Shiyun. “Do you mind Shiyun?”

Liang Shiyun laughed. “Why would I mind?”

This matter was then settled.

Liang Shiyun and Chu Xia made arrangements to leave for the resort the next day.

The resort was in Lin City, so Liang Shiyun went to pick up Chu Xia early in the morning.

The driver parked the car at the entrance of the hotel. Liang Shiyun got out of the car herself, and helped Chu Xia open the door of the back seat. She was planning to sit in the front.

Chu Xia ended up stopping her. “I read the resort information that Gao Yan forwarded to me last night. There are some things I wanted to chat with you on the way there.”

Liang Shiyun: “… Sure.”

Just like that, they sat in the back row together.

The car drive was smooth. They sat in the back seat and watched the scenery while chatting about the resort. Soon, they arrived at their destination.

It took more than three hours to drive there, and it was already noon when they arrived.

Liang Shiyun took Chu Xia to check in. After a brief rest and meal, she showed him around.

The hot spring destination was one of Lida’s old projects. A lot of money was invested in the early stages, so the location was very well chosen, and it was a scenic spot.

The whole project was built on the mountain. The modern-style buildings were ingeniously integrated among the mountains and forests. It was quiet and the guest rooms were designed with open-air observation patios that face the scenery, which was a genuine panoramic view of the mountains.

“In addition to the mountain scenery, the hot springs here are also unique. There are three large ones, six small ones and nine mini pools in the resort. Each one has a unique style and landscape.” Liang Shiyun stopped in front of a hot spring pool. “Vacation season was in full swing. It’s a good time to soak in the hot springs. After traveling for half a day, why don’t you go into the hot springs and rest?”

Chu Xia: “Okay.”

Ten minutes later, Chu Xia changed into his bathrobe and came out. He saw that Liang Shiyun was still wearing her clothes.

“Aren’t you going into the water?” Chu Xia asked.

They were at one of the three big pools in the resort. It was near the top of the mountain, and it was a mixed gender pool.

The view from the pool was a sea of trees. Because there was no snow here, the trees were still lush. In addition to that,  the weather was good.

Liang Shiyun waved her hand: “You can go bathe. I’ve been suffering from too much internal heat recently. I’ll just be on the phone as I wait for you.”

Chu Xia: “…”

He took off his bathrobe and went into the water alone.

After not seeing him for many years, his figure was even better.

The muscles were solid and the lines were strong. Under the full chest muscles, the ab muscles had one, two… eight lines, and the smooth mermaid line extended into the thin fabric, and if she went further down…

Liang Shiyun couldn’t look any more. She quickly controlled herself and turned her head.

She’s not actually suffering from too much internal heat. She just hadn’t done it in too long and had been a little too “empty” lately.

And Chu Xia

She had touched his body before and had enjoyed the taste of it. She wanted to soak in the same pool with him, but she was afraid that she would have unclean thoughts.
