In the afternoon, Yu Huan took Chen Yilin to deal with a new case involving the disclosure of trade secrets.

Although Yu Huan was not good at litigations, Rhone Industries was a partner of the law firm since its establishment. After consulting with Fred, Yu Huan recommended a reliable litigation lawyer to them, and also followed through on the case with Chen Yilin.

Yu Huan, Chen Yilin, and the lawyer agreed on a time to go to Rhone Industries together.

It was not Yu Huan’s first time going there, she was familiar with the place. She took them through the offices separated by glass walls and went to a conference room.

In the conference room, Eric, Rhone’s security engineer, got up. After briefly greeting them, he explained the issue to them, and logged into Rhone’s internal system to show them a demonstration.

This part did not have much to do with the legal paperwork. Eric could only try to explain it in a way that the three of them could understand.

“Did you understand it?” Yu Huan asked Chen Yilin when Eric and the lawyer in charge of the case were invited to another office by Rhone’s CEO.

“Yeah.” Chen Yilin then summarized, “In short, ‘someone went in and stole the paper with the secret formula’.”

Computer science majors are really different.

Yu Huan looked up and saw Manny, Rhone’s HR and Administrative Director, standing in front of the glass door. She was holding a pot of tea and cups on a tray.

“The receptionist had to go out for something. I saw that you didn’t have any water here, so I made some tea for you and stopped by.” Manny took the cup from the tray and asked, “Who is this?”

“This is a new intern from our law firm.”

Before Yu Huan could say more, Manny’s hand had already reached out to Chen Yilin. “Hello, I’m Manny, the HR Director of Rhone.”

“Hello.” Chen Yilin paused and then shook her hand.

This was the first time Yu Huan had taken him somewhere, so he had changed into a suit.

His serious analysis of the situation just now probably did not seem like a young newcomer in his early twenties.

Manny had a surprised expression. “So you just graduated?”

“I think we should wait for Eric to come back.” Chen Yilin smiled apologetically.
