Chapter 15 Part 2 – Ex-boyfriend

Yu Huan suddenly became more enthusiastic. During their pleasant conversation, they found more and more things they had in common. After that, they met up several times, and they began to try dating.

The way Teng Senwen looked was a little poor, but his income was good, and he was very proactive.

During the early stages of dating, Yu Huan could hardly pick out something bad about him. He always took into account her opinions first, and he was very detailed and considerate. He would help her set the alarm clock when she was busy to ensure that she would not miss important meetings, and he would keep brown sugar water in the car all the time during her period, and would always tell her about when he had to take a trip somewhere.

But for such a considerate boyfriend, Yu Huan accidentally bumped into him on a date with another woman

“She is another blind date introduced to me by my family.”

Was she too intense and didn’t give him the response he needed in this relationship?

Yu Huan thought of excuses for him.

During that time, she had just finished an important case, and she was going to take a vacation to travel with him.

When it happened, she was not in the mood to have fun anymore and did not feel like canceling her vacation. She went to the hot springs in the countryside to relax during her vacation.

The hot spring resort was located in a scenic mountain spot, and all the activities were set up to be on the mountain. In late autumn, there was a large area of red maple trees to take in the view. But when Yu Huan went, it was early autumn, and it was not the holiday period. Thus, the resort was peaceful and quiet at the moment.

When Cen Si called out of concern about Yu Huan, Yu Huan was alone in the best hot pool in the villa.

She saw that no one was around, so she simply put her on speaker. She leaned back while soaking, and told Cen Si the whole story, including Teng Senwen’s “explanation”

But just after she finished talking, she discovered that there was another person behind the bushes in the corner that was near the water—Gao Yan.

“… Mr. Gao.” Yu Huan hung up and greeted him awkwardly.

At this point, Yu Huan was not in contact with Gao Yan a lot yet.

Yu Huan’s law firm and Leshang always had a close business relationship. Gao Yan was an important client and was a client early on, so Fred was personally involved in all of Le Shang’s cases, regardless of size.

Yu Huan and Gao Yan were not close. She saw him come out from behind the bush, and she was so embarrassed that she wanted to dig a hole in the ground. “Sorry, I didn’t know you were here just now.”

“I’m the one who is sorry. I was tired just now. I took a nap and didn’t make a sound in time to let you know,” he said. For some reason, his face sort of had an unspeakable depression to it.

Later, Yu Huan read the news and learned that Gao Yan’s mother passed away just a few days ago. *∞:｡.｡ ???? ?? .??? ｡.｡:∞*

But at that moment , she only thought his quiet was disturbed so he was unhappy. Thus, she said that she was almost done soaking and was going to leave.

Just as she stepped out of the pool, Gao Yan suddenly stopped her. “Yu Huan—”

“Is there anything else Mr. Gao?”

“I’m sorry to hear about what happened to you, but I suggest you check your boyfriend’s cell phone,” Gao Yan said.

“?” Yu Huan immediately stopped.

It was hard for her to describe her emotions then.

Gao Yan didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but he clearly listened to all the conversations between her and Cen Si.

Although she felt that it was not her fault that Teng Senwen was dating other women behind her back, her boyfriend’s half-heartedness made it easy to second guess her views and attraction.

Now, Gao Yan reminded her that the situation might be worse

For a moment she felt like a clown.

Feeling resentful and embarrassed, she didn’t respond and quickly wrapped up the towel around herself and walked away.

But Gao Yan did not stop there.

“Do you know how to check his cell phone?” he turned to look at her back and asked. “For notifications on Moments, GPS addresses, hotels, and delivery orders.”
